Met Barbara at Penn State, married and raised four boys -- Rob, Mike, Brian and Jason, in Upper Moreland, PA. Rob was a National Merit Scholar and graduated from Williams College in 1993 - its bicentennial year. Mike was a Penn State Scholar, graduating in 1997. Brian and Jason also graduated from Penn State.
Like me, Rob is a CPA (KPMG and E&Y while getting his MBA at NYU), but unlike me, he is still in corporate life – SVP at Radian Group since 2009, and formerly Capmark, where he was Chief Accounting Officer - North America. Mike is a FCAS and SVP at Munich Re in Princeton, where he is head of property underwriting. In 2007-08, he and his family lived in Munich. Jason is an adult probation officer for Bucks County. Brian struggled with bipolar disorder for a number of years until we lost him in August 2014.
Rob and Mike, along with their high school sweethearts, Suzanne and Deana, have given us seven grandkids, the first four, girls, to make up for our run of boys. A fifth girl, Hailey Anne, the youngest, was born July 26, 2011. They all live nearby in Abington and Horsham, so we get to see them a lot. Jason lives a little further away in Bedminster, between Doylestown and Quakertown, with his fiancee, Stacy, and their three dogs.
