i will ALWAYS remember how you would come to la mott (cheltenham's ghetto) and trim our christmas tree. wow, we must have done that for 5 years straight.
I realize tht you wrote this as a memorial to Sally...she was my good friend, as well, and I miss her too...But do you remember that I helped trim your tree for years, and that you joined me for High Holiday services in the balcony at Rodeph Shalom for years...not to mention our Friday afternoon 50 cent matinees at the Uptown!
Those are some of my most treasured memories! I am so looking forward to seeing you!
And in response to Robert's comment, I understand the connotation of "ghetto" in his mind as being in pre-WWII, Warsaw, & other areas of Europe; however, you grew up in LaMott, and I feel thet you have the right to call it whatever you want!
